Side Effectz is a hiphop group from Växjö city in Småland, Sweden. The group consists of two members Juancan (Rhymes and production) & Linkan (Rhymes). In the winter of 2006 we out up a recording booth at Juancan's crib with a a little help from Johnny for the construction.

At that time we decided to record an album to release it in 2007, but since the working process was slowed down we finally released it in May this year.

The first songs we recorded for the album never made the final tracklist. Our first song together (Aire) was a tribute to our friend, Rickard "Slick Rickard" Blomstöm, that passed away in the summer of 2005. R.I.P. The track was recorded at Musikhuset, Växjö, in 2005 and then later on in 2007. Then some time passed by and we did a collabo (Mechanikz) with the Växjö rapper, Cap, that we released on our myspace.

The 12th May we released our debut-album (Aots The Album) containing 14 tracks all produced by Juancan and Akopalips. Buy our CD right here at our website where ever you are in the world. We've recently added our previous mixtape (AsfaltAllanz MuskotMadness) containing 10 tracks to this page, so hurry up and download and listen.

Side Effectz is also currently working on an EP with Akopalips that will be released on the internet for you to download someday this year.
